Geelong Animal Rescue (GAR) is a 100% volunteer organisation.
GAR is not a pound, has no office nor vet practice.
GAR rescues unwanted cats & dogs from death row at many pounds across Victoria via a volunteer in-home foster carer program.
As GAR receives no government funding, GAR relies 100% on adoption fees, fundraising and public generosity. The 2019 average monthly vet bill for GAR so far this year is $9,758. Veterinary expenses include desexing, microchipping, vaccinating, dental and other surgeries where required.
Every cent raised from this raffle will be used to offset these veterinary expenses for the 60+ animals currently in GAR care.
Tickets are priced at $5 each, 5 tickets for $25, 8 tickets for $40, 10 tickets for $50, 20 tickets for $100
