Return flights for two and an $800 travel voucher

First Light Widowed Association was founded by three young Brisbane widows in 2016 to support other women and men navigating the grief process and rebuilding their lives after the tragic death of their spouse or partner. We connect young widowed people to resources, peer-support programs and a community of others sharing the same experience.

Our organisation has reached an exciting milestone and will be hosting a grief retreat called ‘Camp Widow Australia’ in Brisbane with an expected attendance of more than 200.

First Light is a volunteer run organisation and our management committee have been working tirelessly to fundraise in order to make the event possible.

The event is run by widowed people for widowed people and includes opportunities for networking and building community connections, presentations from motivational speakers and practical workshops such as grief-therapy, relationship-building and self-care.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from this raffle will be used to run Camp Widow.

Tickets are priced at $10 each, 2 tickets for $20, 3 tickets for $30, 4 tickets for $40, 5 tickets for $50, 10 tickets for $100, 50 tickets for $500

Return “the works” economy airfares for two people from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne to Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, courtesy of Air New Zealand.

$800 voucher for New Zealand land travel arrangements (valid for accommodation, car hire, attractions or tours), courtesy of ANZCRO, TravelManagers Erin Ross & Solo Parents Travel Club.

Prize T&Cs: Must be booked by 30 September 2021 & travel completed by 31 December 2021, with a minimum 20 working days’ notice required to make a booking. Reservations are strictly subject to availability, which may be limited during holiday periods, special or sporting events where blackout periods may apply.

The prize is non-transferable, non-upgradable & cannot be exchanged for cash, nor is the travel eligible for Airpoint accruals or redemptions. The flight part of the prize refers to the cost of air travel only & is limited to Air New Zealand operated flights. All airport taxes, government charges & other costs associated with the prize are at the traveller’s expense.

The Raffle commences on the 28th of February 2020, closes on the 30th of October 2020 and will be drawn on the 2nd of November 2020 at Newmarket Qld 4051 at 11am. Persons under the age of 18 years are unable to enter.

The odds of winning the stated prizes based on the total possible ticket sales displayed are: 1st Prize 1/1077. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
